Biking adventure like no other…

Join us on a truly enticing African biking holiday, a journey never to be forgotten. Ride highland peaks and forested valleys, bike ancient elephant trails in Botswana. Indulge in the classic luxuries of the Golden Cottage, and slumber to sounds of the wild under starlit skies in Botswana's wilderness.

You are on holiday, so no wake up calls here. Every morning, after breakfast, you will either climb to above 2000m or enjoy the flowing descents with some technical and steep sections, pass indigenous San rock art and ride over stream bridges. You will emerge on highland plains and cruise down winding trails, herding eland, wildebeest and zebra as you go. You break only for a swim or lunch or better still, to encounter wildlife. The first few nights you will be accommodated in The Golden Cottage which is a luxurious ranch style homestead.

On day 6 you pass over into Botswana. You ride in Mashatu Game Reserve for approximately 4 to 5 hours a day at a relaxed pace with plenty of stops to soak up the views. There will be plenty opportunities to encounter wildlife including elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, impala, kudu, eland among others and occasionally lions and leopards will make their appearance. The wilderness camps are set up prior to your arrival and contain all the amenities you need without distracting from the wilderness experience. Your evenings will be enjoyed around the open fire, where your food will be prepared, while sharing your day experience to the sound of the surrounding wildlife.

Review from a fulfilled biking traveller

”We breathed the cleanest air we’ve ever breathed. We got as close as 50 metres from a herd of elephants. We saw the most amazing variety of wild animals. We did all this with our mountain bikes; with each other. We really lived. We experienced the most amazing hospitality and our every need was taken care of and patiently the guides answered every question.”
