5 reasons why South Africa is the prefect holiday and business destination
- Value for money: South Africa has always been considered a value–for–money destination. But now, with the weakening of the rand against stronger currencies, – Euro, Dollar and Pound – everything has become even more affordable. Now is the time to cash in on this and enjoy a five–star holiday at three and four–star rates.
- International shopping and fashion Paradise: Headed by Cape Town, the ´Mother City´, South Africa offers a world of international designer labels and local independent boutiques. The Cape is fast becoming one of the world´s fashion capitals. Miss World has recently hosted their pageant on our shores and each year sees people flocking to the fashion expos in Cape Town. South Africa also offers numerous shopping malls such as Canal Walk – one of the biggest shopping centres in the southern hemisphere – where you can enjoy a coffee break at one of the many vibrant cafes.
- 2010 Fifa World Cup: From 11 June to 11 July 2010, South Africa will be hosting this prestigious event. The Green Point Stadium in Cape Town is ahead of schedule and even offers a one–man act called The Greensman played by Apollo Fikile, in which he dramatises the history of the Green Point Common: Latitude Ventures will offer packages in combination with the World Cup.
- Business Tourism: South Africa is an affordable destination for conferencing and incentive trips. Businesses come from all over the world to use the multipurpose international conference and convention centres and venues. Now is the time to capitalise on the favourable exchange rate.
- Affordable Fine–Dining: You are spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants and wines in Cape Town. The cuisine ranges from Mediterranean flavours to Asian spices, local Cape Malay dishes and traditional African meals. Restaurants are generally well priced, are often run by top internationally trained chefs and can usually be found where there´s a breath–taking landscape and picturesque backdrop.
