These horse trails are designed for those who wish to experience the beauty of the winelands as part of an all-inclusive, luxury equestrian vacation in the Western Cape. The focus here is on riding through our local mountain fynbos, vineyards and olive groves. Guests are taken to wine farms, an olive producer and get to taste some of the excellent local cuisine.

Horse Riding Safari in Okavango Delta, Botswana

Exploring the Okavango Delta on horseback is a one-of-a-kind safari. Pony Trekking in Lesotho

For the more committed cyclist, the Cape Argus Cycle Tour is a must.The Cape Argus Pick ’n Pay Cycle Tour With more than 35 000 people taking part, this is the largest individually timed cycle race on the planet. For some, this 109 km tour is the achievement of a personal goal, a test of fitness and staminaor a chance to raise funds for worthy causes. For others, it’s simply a fun event and one of the highlights of the international cycling calender, attracting entrants from all over the world year after year.

First held in 1977, the tour has undergone many changes to routes, distances and levels of participation over the past 37years. Innovative environmental management has also positionedthe tour as one of the leading, environmentally sustainable events in South Africa.

The route, which winds its way around the Peninsula, gives cyclists an opportunity to enjoy a challenging race amid scenes of unparalleled natural beauty as they cycle the length of the peninsula to Cape Point returning over Chapman’s Peak to the finish in Green Point.
