Do you love coffee?   Perhaps it’s because the Cape was settled by the Dutch in 1652 that Cape Town has such a vibrant coffee-shop culture. Just about every inner-city street has its hole-in-the wall coffee bar. The list is long and varied, from your quick hit of strong espresso to the authentic Italian energy and stream of local characters. Then there are a whole bunch of new kids on the block where the gourmet coffee cult is taken to extremes!
