Bungee jumping at Vic Falls, Gouritz and Bloukrans

Bungee Jumping at Vic Falls, Gouritz and BloukransFree falling with your heart in your mouth: bungee jumping is one of the ultimate adrenaline rushes. In southern Africa, there are three spectacular venues that offer commercial jumping. The first is off the Victoria Falls Bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The other two options are along South Africa’s Garden Route: one at Gouritz River and the other at the Bloukrans River Bridge, the ‘big daddy’ of them all.

Deep in Tsitsikamma’s rain forest, the awe-inspiring Bloukrans is the world’s highest commercial bungee jump (listed as such in the Guinness Book of Records). Your free fall is a staggering, and unbearably thrilling, 216 meters, hurtling towards the Bloukrans River far below.

Experienced leaders ensure you are properly and securely harnessed before coaching you in how to drop with a pendulum-like motion, which ensures that you fall and fly like a bird!
